Applying, I Does It

Yeah, so, after two weeks of piddling around with the essay and generally forgetting I had a college application to complete in the first place, I finally said screw it and turned the whole thing in this morning. Then I went on over and filled out a FAFSA so I could have more money to buy a laptop pay for school, and now I just need to request transcripts from my old schools and fill out the preferred tuition thing so I get my discount. (ten percent! yay!)

It has begun. Teh Sass has started her journey on the way to a Bachelors Degree. It will be fraught with dangers the likes of which many have faced before - term papers, finals, marathon study sessions, lack of sleep, cheap food... oh yes, the path will be difficult, but I shall emerge victorious on the other side. I hope.

In other news, the Russians have invaded Georgia.

NO, I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE AREA OF LAND IN THE SOUTHERN UNITED STATES.

Dear God, people. You have no idea how many retards at my work think that Russia invaded the US. Get a world map, you friggin' noobs. Or better yet, go back to school and re-take geography.

Oy.

Congrats on school! I am joining you in the scary trip to a degree this fall. I may be the one crying in the corner by mid-September.
