What happened in TV that year?

The Disney Channel, CMT, and Spike TV (then known as "TNN" or "The Nashville Network") all began broadcasting.

Webster, The A Team, Fraggle Rock, and Love Connection made their debut.

M*A*S*H* ended. (Yes, it was that long ago.)

Feeling old yet? No? Let's look at what movies were released that year... *evil laugh*

And just for fun - I Love 1983

So, what did I forget? What else happened in 1983? What were YOU doing in 1983?

I'm 29 I remember watching "Thriller" on MTV. When MTV was still playing awesome music videos. I had an uber crush on Micheal Jackson and wanted to marry him. Er, not so much anymore.

Happy Birthday Ninja Bunny!

Ack! Happy Birthday ( a little late, oops)...

In 1983, I was almost 12, listening to Thriller, LMAO at Mr. Mom (I think it came out that year), abd seriously crushing on this guy Pete in my 6th grade English class...

Damn... now I feel old and nostalgic. =)

Late birthday from me, too. I had to comment, though, because I actually remember what I was doing on 10/17/83. I was 12 and I was at a Rick Springfield concert in Rapid City, South Dakota!!

Okay, now I feel old. ;o)
